I bought the Evaluation Board RAK3172 and a RAK7268C to test some applications at home.
When I connect the Evaluation Board to the USB, the red led starts blinking like 2 times/s, but it doesn’t turn off completely during the off time, the led stays with a low brightness.
The LED is a charging indicator from the charging chip. If there is no battery connected, the output of charging chip is floating which means it will not be able to identify the correct status of the battery. Generally, there is nothing to worry about it unless something is heating up on the board or the device is constantly drawing huge current.
