Hi @Victor ,
It seems you are not running the Field Test Data Processor extension that’s why you only get uplinks on fport 5 (your question to different forum thread). You need a WisGate Edge to run this extension software.
Regarding linkcheck, the device is working immediately in LinkCheck mode. You can see the downlink parameters in the screen as well as the number of gateways.
Hi:
all the documentation talks about a 10 bytes payload coming in f_port:1. I my case I am receiving a 7 bytes payload and from f_port:5 . Do you have the decoder for the 7 bytes coming from fport_5? o the way th change a standar mode?
Hi @Victor ,
The bytes you get on fport5 represents the label tag. You can see in your TTN console that it shows NULL value.
You can change it in settings. For example, I changed mine to TEST.
This is the payload I will receive which is the hex representation of the ASCII word TEST.
To have the GPS data payload that you expect from fport1, you need to have a working integration to Field Test Data Processor extension in WisGate OS2.
I understand that you use non-RAK gateway. So we can force a manual downlink to activate the payload.
Please send as downlink:
Hex: 76312E312E30
Port:10
After scheduling and successfully received by the RAK10701-Plus field tester, you should start getting the GPS data on fport1.
Here’s how it should look like.
Thanks, It is works,
It is posible to set the RAK10701-Plus field tester, with GPS mode in fport:1 as default in the startup?
I observed when a turn off the equipmet , in the next restart the RAK begins in Fport = 5 again
Hi @Victor ,
On the current FW, it is not possible. The downlink in fport 10 is needed to activate the full payload.
