RAK3172 Insufficient Coverage?

I want to produce an omnidirectional antenna with copper wire myself. Do you think I can get a similar range to RAK’s blade antennas with this antenna?

That’s a very tricky work to produce yourself a proper antenna well setup ! why do you want to do that ?

I want to test it. I don’t know how i’ll connect copper wire to SMA connector without much signal loss. So i’m curious about it.

good luck with that antenna principle is easy but practice is very complicated ! Don’t forget also that if you shortcut by mistake the radio output of the module or improperly load it with a very bad tuned antenna you might destroy the radio output of the RAK3172
