This doesn’t work for me. Figured out a few of the errors, like adding

bg77_at(“AT+QIDEACT=1”, 3000);
delay(2000);

in front of

bg77_at(“AT+QIACT=1”, 3000);

Also, I think the AT+QISEND might be wrong, because the byte size wasn’t there (at least for me).

However, after addressing those items, when I attempt to send information (even using text rather than the gps location), I get an error. I follow the steps also noted below, and sometimes I don’t get an error, however the data doesn’t send. Wondering if its Hologram, or the setup.

What error do you receive if you don’t deactivate PDP via “AT+QIDEACT”?

On your sending issue, based on Quectel documentation, AT+QISEND doesn’t need the byte size.

Btw, are you from US? LTE-M of Hologram will only work on US.

Hi @carlrowan @beegee . I know, it’s not a right place to ask, but we talked in the past at this channel… You helped me with WisBlock ! Same quality help need from You Sir for Helium implementation to New Zealand. I checked, Wellington have two spots. What is your advice to Helium implementation to Auckland nz ? Too early to think about, or too late ? I know, it’s not a fast business, but I would like to take my chances…

For New Zealand I’d say you’re early, as you found there are not many around yet.

We’ll have some announcements later In the year which will make these deployments much easier.

Yes definitely you will receive the news when they are available!
Right now you’d be waiting many months for a Helium gateway in New Zealand, it would not be a good experience particularly for busy people.

Yes much more widespread in Europe, but top 2 countries are US and U.K.
