I have several RAK2013 units that have been exhibiting the same symptoms. They will run for a while and then suddenly all connections to the unit are refused except for some will respond to a ping. Best I can tell is it’s really just a bad signal strength and Verizon is rejecting the connection. Not the Pi. I know this because I have replaced on with a Mikrotik using LTE and it can connect but the RSI is not very good. Still it’s enough to connect and manage the site.
So my question is there a way to 1) check the LTE signal strength wile connected to the network? 2) boost the gain or power or the system to get a better connection?
