What algorithm does RUI3 P2P encryption use?

Could you please specify what encryption algorithm RAK3172 uses in P2P mode when encryption is enabled?

The encryption used in RAK3172 RUI3 firmware is AES128.

Should the key size not then be 16 bytes? It is defined as 8 bytes in RUI3 documentation.

Yes. The AT+ENCKEY command needs 8 bytes (or 16 digit hex symbols). Then the RUI3 firmware performs internal processing to generate actual 128bit AES key.
